\nLibertyville Mayor Terry Wepple, library director Stephen Kershner and library trustee Bonnie Quirke cut the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the new facility. Some new features include a computer bank with 26 computers, a state-of-the-art children's section (with its own computer and DVD section), a young adult area, a study area, a tremendous DVD selection, a self-checkout area and much much more.
The remodeling involved adding 11,000-plus square feet of space and walls of window to give plenty of light and a feeling of openess.
